Duom Hong Pasidungog

To honor Butuanons who excelled in their fields of endeavor and to recognize their significant contributions and meritorious services to Butuan and other places, an Awards Night or Duom Hong Pasidungog will be held at Dottie’s Convention Center in the evening of May 13, 2015 (Wednesday).

1. A nomination form and guideline are enclosed to enable everyone to nominate their candidates (attachment 1 and 2). This will be submitted not later than March 1, 2015.
2. An invitation of the Duom Hong Pasidungog is also enclosed. This is a formal/ethnic dinner/awards/dance hosted by all BalikButuanons where each attendee will be assessed $15 to cover the cost and other expenses. It is suggested that BalikButuanons sponsor their relatives to attend the event at $15 per person, payable to BalikButuan, 1783 S. Holt Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90035, USA or P700 in cash at the door. This will enable them to participate and witness the awarding of the Ten Outstanding Butuanons and the celebration of our heritage. Assessment will be paid in advance for those who would like to reserve a table or may be paid at the door on any-space available basis. As honorees, admission of all the awardees are free including one member of their family. Attire will be “Ethnic” or barong Pilipino or Filipiniana. Please RSVP to [email protected].
